In a variety of BWI Focus Groups, despite cultural norms against the public airing of emotional or psychological issues, especially individual or family vulnerability, participants discussed painful issues with a candor and poignancy. Youth appear to be the most ready to open up about emotional and cultural challenges.

A community stress and needs assessment survey was launched in July 2015. a) Over 20 diaspora organizations helped us obtain over 400 survey responses. The survey report will be released by mid 2017.
