Krishna Desar has been working in a Washington, DC human rights organization for over ten years. In addition to his human rights work, Krishna is a passionate volunteer.  He is keenly interested in community building activities which promote kindness and compassion among all peoples. He is an active volunteer of Service Service, helped start Karma Kitchen DC, a pay-it-forward volunteer run restaurant based on the gift economy model. Krishna is the cofounder of Bhintuna International LLC which promotes Nepalese Culture, Food, Arts and Artist in the USA. He has been part of the team of coordinators for Global Nepal Fest; Kutumba U.S tour ;  Ani Choying U.S tour; Women in Concert U.S tour . He is currently a board member of Sarvodaya USA and Education for Needy Children in Nepal.
